Luke 5:12-16 Touching and Its Healing Power

When COVID was in full bloom and at its deadliest, I’ll admit, I was scared.  If I heard people sneeze or cough in public, I grew concerned. I didn’t want to get anywhere near them. And I sometimes wondered why they cough or sneeze in public. How dare they? I didn’t want to be near them, lest touch them. I didn’t want to get that disease. It was the leprosy of my day. I didn’t want to touch the untouchable. But Jesus did. And he alone could. He was the Son of God become flesh. He could not only heal physically, but emotionally as well. He could touch the untouchable---including you and me---and heal.  Touching was part of the healing! What can we do, in the Spirit of Jesus, to bring about their healing? And is their power in doing what the leper did---falling down on our face---for Jesus? Let’s look at all these things in this study.
