HAPPY RESURRECTION MONDAY

Happy “Resurrection Monday” from Smiling Icon. After special days like Easter, you might receive special encouragement to live out the truth of who you really are in Christ because of Jesus.

So here it is.

The incarnated Lord—— the ultimate “Icon” (Image) of God—— was risen!

Creation and God had become one in Christ.

Even though he “became sin” on the cross and died on creation’s behalf, He exploded in the tomb into resurrection life!

Think of it like the Singularity of the Next Big Bang, the explosion of created life into God life, and the life that will give resurrection life to all of creation.

He has given “incomparably great power for us who believe.” (Ephesians 1:19)

 That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 1:20)

When He died, we died. (2 Corinthians 5:14)

When He rose, we rose.

“God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:6)

Have a wonderful resurrection Sunday, and be sure to celebrate its truths and live them out.

In him, and now through us, his body, his called out ones, his church, he will “fills everything in every way.” (Ephesians 1:23)
