So, what lifestyle should a Christian live?

John and Jesus modeled two different approaches.  John is what you would call an “ascetic.” Jesus lived life more robustly.

Which is right? Either, neither, or both.  Let’s see what we can learn as we wrap up this study.

As we’ll see, both lifestyles were appropriate to their needs. And at different times, may be appropriate to ours as well.
