Luke 4:38-44 Staying Focused on YOUR Mission—Through Prayer

We’ve all heard it, we’ve all said it. “I’m too busy to pray.” “I’m too tired to pray.” “I’m too depressed to pray.” But Jesus didn’t see it that way. He “needed to pray,” no matter what. Why?  He was the Son of God, right? But he was human too. Jesus still saw the need to pray, and for two reasons, think.  To replenish his soul after extensive work for God.  And to stay focused on HIS mission, and not let the demands or needs of others distract you from it. Prayer is one way he stayed focused on his mission.

 Jesus needed to pray, and so do you. It’s the way to replenish after serving God hard.

 And it’s the way you can stay focused on yours as well.
