ADVENT STUDY SERIES 2025: PART 3 - The Story of “Christ-mass” Story According to Paul
Ephesians 1:18-23
New International Version
18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people . . . the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
You are so much more than you realize!
God wants to “fulfill” you! He promises this in Ephesians 1!
"The verb πληροω (plero), meaning to make full or complete: to fill a hollow thing with something, to keep a promise, to substantiate a prophecy or to accomplish a previously proclaimed objective. Note that while in English this verb goes all over the place, in Greek it's still the same verb, saying the same thing each time: to inflate something that came into the world flat and empty; wholly there but not yet endowed with volume and structure — like the universe or any organism that grows from a genetically complete seed. πολυς | Abarim Publications Theological Dictionary (New Testament Greek)"
We will be one day so much more than we are now. God will fill and fulfill us. We ain't seen nothing yet.
It will be utterly amazing when Christ fully "masses" YOU!
Merry Christmas in advance!
